The objective of the Storytelling videoconference project is to serve as an easy, low stress way for you to become involved in video conferencing. You can either read a story to another class, or sign up to be read to. If you are desiring to have your class read to, please put your information in the "participating" columns. (Please only one school per time slot.)

Connections will be 20 - 30 minutes in length.

If you are a reader, try to be as interactive as possible. (See Storytelling through IVC.doc) This does not require a big art project or activity, just something along the lines of the students either answering some questions about the book or possibly even being involved in the reading. For example, if the book has a repetive text pattern, after the first time or two, have the students "read" the repetive text. If you have a class on your side, remember to include both groups. Student readers are OK, too.
