Program description

Students will learn about mammals by focusing on bats. They will also be creating a craft by way of solving math problems and they will also use problem solving skills in this 40-45 minute session. This is completely interactive and will involve question and answer, problem solving and craft actvities. As the presenter works through the content, these steps will be directed. Students will gain an understanding of bats and how they are a unique mammal as well as practice math problem-solving.

In order to involve as many schools as possible, each school may sign up for only ONE time slot. Also, in order to preserve the interactiveness of the program, only one classroom per school (maximum 30 students). If you participated in either "Ice Bear, Little Fox" or "Stellaluna", please allow others to participate.
